A Blog-Hug to What "Makes My Heart Smile"

Amy over at "Surviving the Day" added me to her 10 favorites. I had missed the post somehow, but today was a day I needed it. I've been thinking about letting my blog fade, because I've been feeling like it needs to evolve. Since I've been part of this bereaved parent online community, I've watched other bloggers turn a corner, fade, or create new blogs to better express the different facets of their lives that have grown from this grief journey.

That said, I still don't know how my writing will transform, but today, I felt blog-hugged. So thanks Amy for including me, and like you I found it difficult to choose only 10, and because many of my favs would be the same as Amy's, I decided rather than to pick 10, I'd add 10 to the list of favorites.  Here they are:

Dr. Joanne Cacciatore at "Becoming

Mommy (You can call me OM) at "Overeducated Mommy"

Hope's Mama at "Tuesday's Hope

  1. I just recently found you and I enjoy visiting here. I'm glad you got a blog-hug if it means you'll keep writing. Consider this another one.

  2. I came here to say thank you for your support on my blog. You deserve an additional thank you for including me. I too feel a 'blog hug.' Thank you.

I hope you continue to blog, even if you redefine the direction. I think it provides an outlet for you and I know it helps others.

    Peace, my friend.

  3. Your welcome!

I know what you mean about blogging though. Somedays I feel like I've said all I can say at this stage in my journey. I think about something to write and realize I've already said it. How much is there left to say?

My blog moves from being about Liam and grief to just living each day, which of course will always be tied to living without Liam, and that is my connnection to writing on my blog that was started to honor my son.

If the words do dry up I promised myself in the start of this I would not force them out. I would just stop. I hope I can recognize that point and keep true to my writing and to Liam.

I hope you find the path that is right for you. I will miss your blog if it does come to an end. I hope not.

  4. I'm glad you got a blog-hug. Here's another one. ((Hugs))

  5. thank you for including my blog- elmcitydad where I write with my husband chris. i don't get to read too many other blogs that much because i work a lot but i'm glad to have stumbled on to yours.

thank you for your support. I think that the writing i'm doing is helping me tremendously. i am not a writer, but getting out my thoughts, whether they are being read or not, really helps me figure out where i'm at- at any given moment.

so thanks for the blog-hug, thats really sweet!

  6. I sure feel blog-hugged today, seeing my name on your list. Thank you! : )

  7. Congrats for the blog-hug. I am so glad that I found my way to the ALI blogger community...I think life would have been more enlightened had I hit blogging a little early.

  8. Best of luck as you figure out which direction your blogging future will take.

  9. I can't begin to understand all that you have been through, but a hug is always an appropriate response. So here is another one for you.

I think you'll find that even if you need to take a little time away from your blog. You'll come back to the same open arms.
