On Being

She walked
Chose a path
With no past no destination
Stepping grateful for
No sense of place
No thoughts
Nor haunting memories
Or Worried plans
Neither hope nor dread
She walked
Chose a path of mere

Breath and footsteps

  1. I'm not sure it's meant to, but I find this existence sublime-sounding. Pure consciousness.

You have such a divine way of perceiving and expressing.

  2. That is what I want - taking steps with no haunting memories

  3. The path of mere breath and footsteps sounds so peaceful... so different from the rocky and upredictable journey my feet lead me on each day. Lovely poem, beautiful words.
